Bid the job.
Keep 100%.
No lead fees.
Homeowners near you post what they need done. You see the full job — scope, ZIP, timing, budget, who supplies materials — and bid what it's actually worth. If they hire you, they pay you directly. We take nothing, and we never charge you to see a job or to bid.
How it works for pros
Your skills, years of experience, ZIP code, and a short bio. Homeowners browsing pros by skill can find you and invite you to bid.
Filter open jobs by your ZIP and see the same facts the homeowner sees. In the metro areas we have data for so far, each job also shows a fair-price range built from public wage data (BLS). Turn on notifications to hear the moment a homeowner invites you.
Your amount, how many days, whether materials are included, your warranty, and when you can start. Edit or withdraw anytime before you're hired, and accept or answer counter-offers.
The homeowner pays you directly. After the job, the homeowner rates you (1–5 on five things) and those scores show on your future bids. You rate the homeowner too.
No commission on the job, no fee per lead, no fee to bid. HANDeMANbid is free for pros and homeowners.
Straight answers
Right now we don't — everything is free while we build up pros and jobs, area by area. If we ever add a paid option, it will be optional and announced in the app first. We won't take a cut of your job.
We're new, so in most areas not many yet. Setting up your profile now means homeowners can find and invite you as they arrive — and you're already there when they post.
Follow your state's rules for the work you bid on. Bids can show “licensed / insured” — it's self-reported, so be ready to show proof when a homeowner asks.
Payment is between you and the homeowner, as with any job — agree on price and scope in writing before you start. See Trust & Safety for what to do if a job goes wrong.
Works in any phone browser, and in the HANDeMANbid app on the App Store.
