Terms of Service

Effective September 23, 2026 · These terms are an agreement between you and PathoBrainSeq Inc. (“we”, “us”), which operates HANDeMANbid at handemanbid.com and in the HANDeMANbid apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. What the Service is

HANDeMANbid is an online venue where people who need home-service work (“Homeowners”) post jobs and independent service providers (“Pros”) bid on them. We provide the software. We are not a party to any agreement between a Homeowner and a Pro, we don't employ or supervise Pros, and we don't perform, guarantee, or inspect any work.

2. We don't handle payments

The Service is free. We don't charge a commission, collect payment for work, hold funds, or pay anyone out. Homeowners and Pros arrange and make payment directly with each other. If we ever introduce a paid feature, we will tell you in the Service before it applies to you, and you won't be charged without agreeing to it.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for someone else or to get around a suspension.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Help panel in the app. See how deletion works.

4. If you're a Pro

• You are an independent business, not our employee, agent, or contractor.
• You are responsible for holding any license, permit, registration, or insurance your work requires, and for the quality, safety, and legality of the work you do.
• Anything you state about yourself — including “licensed / insured” — must be true. We don't verify these statements at this time.
• You set your own prices and decide which jobs to bid on.

5. If you're a Homeowner

• Describe jobs accurately, and only post work you're authorized to have done at that property.
• Choosing a Pro is your decision. Check licenses, insurance, and references as you see fit before hiring.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post — jobs, bids, profile details, reviews, and messages (“Your Content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to run and improve the Service. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for reviews, which stay in anonymized form so other people's ratings remain accurate. You're responsible for Your Content and must have the right to post it.

7. Rules of conduct

You agree to follow our Trust & Safety guidelines. In particular, don't post fake jobs, bids, or reviews; misrepresent yourself; harass or threaten anyone; run scams; post illegal work; scrape or disrupt the Service; or use it to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Fair-price ranges and other information

Fair-price ranges and similar figures are estimates built from public data. They're for information only, not a quote or a promise of what any job will cost.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY JOB, BID, OR WORK, OR THE TRUTH OF ANYTHING USERS POST.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM WORK ARRANGED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR FROM DEALINGS BETWEEN USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Disputes between users

Disputes about a job are between the Homeowner and the Pro. We may help as described in our Trust & Safety guidelines, but we have no obligation to resolve them. You release us from claims arising from disputes between users, to the extent the law allows.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from third-party claims that arise from Your Content, work you do or arrange through the Service, or your breach of these terms or the law.

13. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12) continue after your account ends.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update.

15. General

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Trust & Safety guidelines, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent.
