Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026 · PathoBrainSeq Inc. (“we”), operator of HANDeMANbid at handemanbid.com and the HANDeMANbid iOS and Android apps.

What we collect

• Account: email address, name (if you sign in with Google or Apple and choose to share it), and a user ID we generate.
• Job and bid content you enter: job title, description, ZIP code, budget, timing, materials, bid amounts, notes, and reviews.
• Pro profile (optional): skills, years of experience, ZIP code, short bio.
• Notifications: a push token for your device or browser if you enable notifications.
• Support messages: what you send us through Help, plus the page and platform you sent it from.
• Basic technical data: IP address and browser or device type in server logs, and the referral source (for example “reddit”) if you arrived from a link that carries it.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos of your device, or payment card details. We do not sell personal data.

How we use it

• To run the marketplace: show your job to pros near your ZIP, show bids to you, and send notifications you enabled.
• To show fair-price ranges, computed from public wage data — never from your private data.
• To answer support requests and fix problems.
• To understand which channels bring people to HANDeMANbid (aggregate counts only).

Who can see what

• Your job (title, description, ZIP, budget, timing) is visible to signed-in pros. Your email is never shown to other users.
• Your bid amount is visible only to the homeowner who posted that job.
• Reviews are visible to users who view the reviewed profile or job.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Apple and Google (sign-in and push delivery). They process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. Data is stored in the United States.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and personal data yourself at any time: in the app, tap Help → Delete my account — it happens immediately (details). You can also ask us through Help or at handemanbid.com/support, and we complete it within 7 days. Reviews you wrote may remain in anonymized form.

Your choices

• Turn notifications off any time in your device settings or via the bell in the app.
• Edit or delete your jobs, bids, and pro profile from the app.
• Request a copy of your data through Help.

Children

HANDeMANbid is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
